Faith like a child

I was thinking about how I was like in my childhood days. It is indeed a period of time I guess most would want to go back. Still remember when I was young, whenever mama told me she is going to take me out, I will feel so happy even though it is just going to the nearby coffee shop for a meal. After that, I will just sit patiently by the door the whole day waiting for her to take me out. There are times when I waited by the door the whole day only to know that she has been busy doing her chores at home. Even as such, I still believe that she will take me out because that is what she had promised me. True enough, although mama could not take me out that day, she will make it a point to take me out the next day. I had never doubted her words. I did not throw my temper at her and instead held on to the promise she gave me. Till date, I love my parents a lot. Though I am not a child now, I guess I still possess the childlike faith whenever they promise me something. Holding on to your faith like a child. Something which is easy to say but difficult to do. Right now, I really pray to continue this kind of faith in the things You promised me. And I also pray that you will take me out at the end of the day like how mama never fail to let me down.
