The Growing of Fruit

So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law.
Galatians 5:16-18

A porcupine story

Walking in a dark alley not believing in anything anymore except for You. Who can really understand the exact feeling except for You. Once upon a time, there was a porcupine. He had the desire to know and care for the animals around him. However, due to the spikes on his body, his friends will get hurt whenever he gets close to them. He was grieving in sorrow by the river when someone gave him an advice to remove the spikes on his body so as to be with his friends. The porcupine’ heart was filled with excitement as he began pulling out all his spikes. Though it was painful, he persevered and endured all these pains in tears and blood. Immediately after, he returned to his company of friends where they played for days and night. It had proven right that happiness does not last when the tigers attacked their habitat one day. All the friends of the porcupine left him alone and went hiding. After a long struggle, the porcupine managed to escape but paying the price of a wounded body. Rain began to pour. The porcupine called out to his friends but no one responded to him. Thus, the porcupine is planning to seek help from someone; someone whom will never leave him alone. He does not see the point of bearing his heart to the other animals anymore it will only result in desertion at the end of the day. When priceless becomes worthless; only the porcupines that were with him in the old days will stay with the porcupine for they accepted the porcupine’s spike. Though the spikes hurts, but they know what the best for the porcupine is. The ‘super porcupine’ is what the porcupine needs now.
