Death

I knew my time had come. I can only refer my mind as a blank sheet of paper when I set my foot with obedience into the spine chilling water. It was only You that occupied my mind. And I know everything I was doing or rather wanted to do was just for You. I had no doubts. Moments later, those questions diffusing into my mind seemed to have triumphed over the screams from the surroundings. By then, I was already almost fully immersed in water. Still, I had no fear for the strong feelings I had for You. Shortly after, I smiled as I spoke in my own language with You. At that moment, I could still feel the sun shinning very brightly on me. But within a split second, my vision went dark as my body became weightless. Warmth from the sun was immediately replaced by the coldness of the water. I felt my breath being taken away as even my face was immersed in it. I knew everything is over. All for my love for You.
