The Growing of Fruit

So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law.
Galatians 5:16-18

Smile

It is a fact that the number of muscles required for smiling is much much lesser than to frown. This shows that it is easier to smile than to frown. Smiling is easy. I remember the times whenever I feel sad or down, it is always a smile that will cheer me up. And it seems like smiling is contagious. In fact it is, whenever I laugh like a hyena or smile like someone living in Hougang, the atmosphere will change almost immediately. I can never understand how a smile can work on people but I am glad I still have that little intelligence in me to comprehend how a smile can affect a person's day. Sounds weird but it is good to start my day with a smile in the mirror (it is not self-admiration I guess). Make myself happy with my own smile. Being mesmerised or seduced by myself (sounds really wrong) then impact other's life for the day with my charming smile. Butterfly effect. A butterfly flapping it's wing in Paris can generate a tornado in Mexico.
