Harshest condition

I had a conversation with someone from midnight till about four in the morning if not mistaken. During the conversation, questions of such were being posted to me; "Why do I have these obstacles in my life. Why do I have such parents? Was it being planned in my life?" I did not know what to answer at first. In the end, I replied that obstacles in life helps to strengthen yourself and for you be more mature. Bad things that are happening now is for the good in future. So am I right or am I wrong? I was confused myself too but I held on with one very simple fact that You will not plan things to destroy me and whatever that happens is the best for me. Through helping that person, not only was I able to share the load on that person's shoulder but at the same time, I managed to learn something from him as well. I guess it was that no matter what happens in my life, I will try my best to appreciate it as it is for the better of me. As the saying goes; one will tend to grow the fastest under the harshest condition.
